TASS, 3 Dec. The coaching staff of the youth national team of Russia on hockey has determined the extended squad for the world Cup to be held in the Czech Republic. About it reports a press-service of Federation of hockey of Russia.
The full composition is as follows:
goalies – Jaroslav Askarov (SKA), Amir Miftakhov (“AK bars”), and Daniel Isayev (“the locomotive”);
defenders – Daniel Galenic (SKA), Mikhail Gordeev (“Sochi”), Daniil Zhuravlev (“AK bars”), Egor Zamula (“calgary hitmen”), Nikita Zorkin (“SKA-Neva”), Anton Malyshev (“Buran”), Daniel Misiulia (Lokomotiv Moscow), Daniel Pulenkov (“knight”), Alexander Romanov (CSKA Moskva), Sergei Telegin (“Ugra”);
The team will start training on December 10. On 19 December the team will travel to the Czech town of kravaře, where you will spend the final stage of preparation. Russian hockey players will have two friendly matches against the teams of Kazakhstan (December 21) and Slovakia (23 December).
Youth world championship will be held in the Czech Ostrava and Trinec from December 26 to January 5. The Russian team will play in one group with the teams of the Czech Republic (the match will take place December 26), Canada (28 December), USA (29 Dec) and Germany (31 December). The quarterfinals will be held on January 2, semi – finals on January 4, the match for third place and the final on January 5.
