The Russian volleyball Federation held a report and election conference in one of the capital’s hotels. The main item on the agenda was the vote on the election of the President of the IEF, and the head of the organization, was re-elected Stanislav Shevchenko, who initially was the only candidate for the post. Recall Shevchenko headed the Federation since 2010.

After that, the delegates proceeded to the election of the Executive Committee. For the position of General Secretary was elected Alexander Yaremenko, Vice-presidents became Nikolai Karpol, Gennady Shipulin and Andrey Gorbenko. Elected head of the IEF said that the head coaches of men’s and women’s teams of Russia will be assigned in January 2017. As you know, the posts remained vacant after the poor performances of men’s and women’s teams at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
