Dovizioso had surgery on a broken collarbone and is scheduled to speak at the first stage of MotoGP


Italian motorcycle racer Andrea Dovizioso successfully underwent surgery after a fracture of the left clavicle.

The athlete was injured after falling during a pre-season motocross race in Faenza.

After surgery Dovizioso expects to be back in action for the first phase of the new MotoGP season.

The procedure went well, and I want to thank the whole team of doctors who so quickly had the operation. I don’t feel severe pain, this gives me great optimism.I got home this morning, and a day to get to plan the rehabilitation process. I’m sure in the coming weeks will be able to recover and be fully ready for the first Grand Prix 2020 in Jerez — quoted Dovizioso press service of Ducati.

We add that the MotoGP season kicks off on July 19 in Spain. The last three seasons Dovizioso invariably became the Vice-champion of the series.
