Durant signs new $ 198 million deal with Brooklyn


Brooklyn have announced a new contract with forward Kevin Durant.

The club does not disclose the terms of the deal.

According to journalists, the 32-year-old has negotiated a four-year agreement with the club worth $ 198 million.

Durant joined the Nets in 2019. In the past regular season, the forward played 35 games, averaging 26.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.3 blocks, making 45% of three-pointers.

In the Eastern Conference semifinals, Brooklyn lost to Milwaukee (3-4).

The day before, Durant became a three-time Olympic champion in the US national team. He was voted the most valuable player in the basketball tournament at the Tokyo Olympics.
