Russian mixed martial arts fighter Fedor Emelianenko said that thinking about retirement and have discussed the idea of a farewell tour with the head of the promotion company Bellator Scott Coker.
“Yes, I already think about leaving, all the same age. I feel good, but it’s time to leave. We talked with Scott about how to do this tour to complete my career. But everything will be seen over time,” said Emelianenko in a press conference in Tokyo.
On account of 43-year-old Emelianenko 38 wins and six defeats in MMA. In 2012, Emelianenko announced his retirement, but at the end of 2015 back in the octagon. After his return, the Russian has played six games, four of which won.
His next fight, Emelianenko will hold with American Quinton Jackson in Japan Saitama on 29 December.
