Ex-player of “Zenith” left “Valencia”

Defender Ezequiel Garay left Valencia on the expiration of the contract.

“Eternally grateful. Thanks to this big family that I will never forget the moments of joy you have experienced here,” Garay wrote on his page in Instagram.

Previously the player had a conflict with management. In mass media the information appeared that the Argentine refused to sign a contract with a salary of 2.7 million euros per year. Later, the player has denied the rumors about the refusal to renew the agreement.

Garay moved to Valencia in the summer of 2016 from Zenit. The amount of the transfer amounted to 20 million euros. This season, the 33-year-old defender took part in 17 matches of the championship of Spain.
