FIFA may extend the summer transfer window until January


The international football Federation (FIFA) can extend the summer transfer window until January 2021, in order not to aggravate the financial situation of the teams, reports The Telegraph.


As the newspaper notes, this should help the clubs to recover financially from the losses from the suspension of the tournament due to coronavirus.

Representatives of FIFA will discuss the matter with the clubs. According to the source, the leaders of some of them have already supported this idea.

Recall that because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus suspended national Championships in all European countries except Belarus. Suspended also Champions League and Europa League. The 2020 European championship, the Olympic games-2020, and the Copa America in 2020 postponed to 2021.
