Uzbekistan’s known MMA fighter (mixed martial arts) Muslimbek riot in the night of Wednesday has died in hospital after a fight on the street in Tashkent, told RIA Novosti in the press service GUVD of the capital of Uzbekistan.
According to the press service, September 11 the district 00.50 (22.50 GMT on 10 September) in one of the cafes in Tashkent between the two companies had a conflict. Then the young men went to sort things out in the appointed place, where he started a fight.
“As a result three participants of the fight with the received physical injuries went to the hospital, where one of them, 23-year-old Muslimbek riot, despite the efforts of doctors, died,” – said the representative GUVD. The nature of the injury is not specified.
A criminal case under article “deliberate heavy injury”, police said. The sanction of article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of eight to ten years. “All the participants of hooligan actions. The investigation is underway,” – said the press service.
This is the second case of the death of MMA fighter in Tashkent in a fight for the last time. In August 2018, champion of Uzbekistan in this style of martial arts is the Jamshid of Kenjaev was stabbed to death in one of night clubs of Tashkent after a quarrel with the guards of the institution. In March a court sentenced one of the guards for the murder of a sportsman to 18 years in prison.
In August, seven citizens of Uzbekistan were sentenced to six years and three months imprisonment for assault and stabbings one more known in Russia and CIS MMA fighter Murad Chanturia. He Hanturayev was previously fined for disorderly conduct and fighting.
