Larionov was appointed Advisor to the head of staff of Russian national team


Two-time Olympic champion, four-time world champion and three-time Stanley Cup winner Igor Larionov was appointed to the staff of the national team of Russia.

Responsibilities Larionov will work with teams from Russia, of all ages, as well as implementation and continuous improvement of national training programs of hockey “Red machine”. Larionov will give recommendations for the development of young players, to participate in training camps organized by the FHR. The duties of the specialist will include the review and analysis of the matches with the participation of candidates in national teams of Russia. Adviser to the head of staff of the national team will draw conclusions, analytical reports on the work of the coaches, as well as suggestions for sports activities that improve individual player skills and team training process.
