Point guard of NBA “Toronto raptors” Kyle Lowry won’t help team USA at the world Cup in China.
“I was hoping can play in the tournament, but I did not allow doctors. Was hoping to get back out on the track and help his team in the fight for gold. I like to play for the national team, but will now have to support the team from home. I believe that the guys representing our country, will hold a great tournament and win the gold medal. Ahead USA!” – Lowry wrote on his page in Instagram.
In July, the 33-year-old lowrie had surgery on his left hand.
Last season, the playmaker in the “Toronto” became the champion of the NBA. In the season 2018/19 Lowry spent 65 games in the regular season, he averaged 14.2 points, 4.8 rebounds did and gave 8.7 assists, in 24 games in the playoffs his averages totaled 15 points and 4.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.
The world Cup will be held in China from 31 August to 15 September.
