Brazilian forward Neymar will sue Barcelona over bonus for the contract extension with the Spanish club before his departure in the “Paris St Germain”, “blue garnet” will go to court with a counterclaim, according to AS.
Neymar played for Barcelona from 2013 to 2017. The extension of the contract with the Spanish club striker was supposed to get a bonus of 40 million euros. Neymar gave only 14 million, but after his decision to move to PSG Barcelona held the remaining 26 million. Then the representatives of Neymar bought his contract the “blue garnet” for 222 million euros, after which he moved to the Paris club.
According to the article, Neymar believes that it is entitled to the full amount of the bonus, including 10% of the total. “Barcelona” wants to sue the player for 75 million euros. Earlier in the summer transfer window before the start of the season Neymar announced his desire to leave PSG and wanted to return to Barcelona, but the clubs were unable to agree on the transfer of the player. In the case of the transfer of the striker to a Spanish team, the parties had to withdraw from the meeting in court.
