Rublev advanced to the second round of the tournament in Cincinnati

Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev advanced to the second round of the tournament series “masters-1000” in Cincinnati.

In the match of the first round, the Russians defeated the Georgians Nikoloz Basilashvili with the score 6:7 (4:7), 6:4, 6:2.

Tennis players spent on the court for two hours. Rublev complied with 16 aces, made 3 double faults and converted 3 break points out of 5. On account Basilashvili 3 ACE, 4 double faults and 1 unreleased break-point.

Rublev’s next opponent will be the Swiss Stan Wawrinka, who defeated Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov — 5:7, 6:4, 7:6.
