Russian Schwartzman won the first race stage “the Formula-2” in Austria

TASS, July 11. Pilot program development of the Russian SMP Racing Motorsport Robert Schwartzman, who plays for the team Prema, became the winner of the first race of the second stage of the series “Formula 2”, which takes place in Austria. The race was postponed for an hour due to rain.

The second place was occupied by the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda from Carlin, the third was the Chinese Zhou Guangyi (UNI-Virtuosi).

Partner of Schwartzman and the son of seven-time champion “Formula 1” German Michael Schumacher Mick Schumacher was fourth. The Russian Nikita Mazepin (Hitech GP) finished 14th, Artem Markelov (BWT HWA Racelab) came after a mistake on the installation lap.

The second race stage will be held on Sunday.

Schwartzman, who is also a member of the Academy team, “Formula 1” Ferrari will play the first season in the “Formula 2”, last season he became the champion of “Formula-3”. Mazepin for the current season in the “Formula 2” second career, for Markelov – seventh.
