Russian expert Leonid Slutsky can become the new head coach of the Greek AEK, according to “Business Online”.
According to a source, the club is interested in services of the Russian and at the moment carries on negotiations with representatives of the 48-year-old mentor.
Earlier in his resignation was sent to the Portuguese Miguel Cardoso, who led the team from may of this year.
Currently the acting head coach of the Athens team is Nikos Kostenoglou.
The last place of work of the Slutsk was the Dutch “Vitesse”, which he left at the end of November after five consecutive defeats in the national championship. Russian coach worked with the club from Arnhem since the summer of 2018.
