The pilot team “Formula 1” Ferrari Charles LeClair Twitter has apologized for the accident in which he fell during the qualification of the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan.

“No excuses. I was useless. Will do everything, so that tomorrow will be better,” LeClair wrote. Also he specifically asked for forgiveness from teammates who “deserved much more.”

LeClair broke the car after failing to pass a narrow turn. The session was suspended. 21-year-old athlete from Monaco is in fifth place in the overall championship. During the season he once managed to climb the podium at the Grand Prix in Bahrain.

On April 26 in Baku on the track in the accident were the pilot Williams George Russell. In the bottom of his car came off a loose manhole.
