The expense of infarction, as led the team of Svetlana Safronova at this tournament (in fact, 4 of the 6 games ended with 3:2; and three of them in our luckily favor). First, though, was no less infarct confrontation with Romania in the final group match.

We are in the “MK” remember, I announced this meeting primarily as a face-to-face collision the main stars of teams: 14-year-old Tatiana Alexia Kadoshkino and Carutasu. Yes, both a year younger than the vast majority of the remaining participants. And both of them on the head (of course, figuratively) above.

So in this match they scored more points than all: Carutasu – 23, and Kadochkina – all 25! Maybe this predetermined our victory– 3:2 (22:25, 25:15, 25:8, 14:25, 15:10).

Although, of course, not only that. But first of all – great job coach Svetlana Safronova, which has already twice led the team girls of 1998-1999 years of birth to the “gold” of the European Championships (in the category “U18” –to 18 years, and then in the category “U19”). Plus all her staff…

And the other girls did not disappoint. For example, Ortal of ivgi has become the most effective on the pitch (8 points), and Valeria Perov – at the reception (24%).

So, came out from the group. And after that the girls unexpectedly gave us first place, losing is absolutely not motivated Turkey and once on a very strong Italy in the semifinals.

Team Russia in turn went to the hostess in Bulgaria. Not fatal. That girls and proved – 3:2 in our favor (17:25, 25:21, 22:25, 25:21, 15:11).

The most productive in our team: all the same Kadochkina – 22 points and Elizabeth Kochurina – 15 (6 of them per block). Another Elizabeth, Gosheva, was well attended – 37%!

…And today, Saturday, our opponent in the final is Italy. Beginning at 18.00. Our cheer!
